How we choose and compare golf bags & accessories

We compare golf bags and accessories on published manufacturer specs — weight, dividers, pockets, materials — not on marketing copy or sponsorship. Every spec on this site traces back to the brand's own product listing; when we can't verify a number, we don't publish it.

GolfStow exists because most golf accessory buying guides online are either translated marketing brochures, or affiliate content optimised for clicks rather than accuracy — and we start in the accessories-and-bags corner of golf specifically because it's where a buyer can make a confident decision from specs alone, without needing a professional fitting.

Our process: every bag or accessory in our database has its weight, divider count, pocket count and material pulled from the brand's own official product listing. Where a product is an Amazon-exclusive SKU without a separate page on the manufacturer's own site, we say so explicitly rather than pretending a page exists that doesn't.

We group bags by what actually predicts fit: how you move around the course (on foot vs cart), how often you play, and whether you ever fly with your clubs. Our bag finder tool applies the same logic interactively, and it only ever recommends a bag we've verified and photographed for real — never a placeholder.

We do not accept payment for placement, we do not rank a product higher because a brand sent us a unit, and we do not publish a fixed price for anything — prices change daily, so a page showing one is either stale or misleading you into a purchase.

What we're not: a substitute for checking current stock and price yourself before buying. Specs narrow the field to a short, honest list — the final purchase decision, and the price you pay, is always confirmed on the retailer's own page.
